Thumbs up Jamaican Data Recovery Lab

This was mentioned in another thread here under the General Discussions section however I realised that it needs it's own thread especially in the Hardware Section.

Tred Laboratories (Tred labs) is a data recovery and IT solutions company providing a host of services to Jamaica and the wider Caribbean alike.

Tred Laboratories Services and Products :
    • Recover data from: Hard Drives, DVD's, CD's, diskettes and most Flash devices
    • Offsite Backup Solution
    • Data Forensics (electronic discovery consulting and forensic examination of digital and computer media)
    • Data Wipe (Sell depreciated computers without the fear dispersing valuable info)
    • IT infrastructure consulting, design and implementation
    • System administration and consulting (For companies who want to outsource their IT needs)
    • Data insurance new!! (Hard drive crashes, recovery within 24hrs)

So far - i've heard the cost to be approximately US$400. If this is a flat rate then this service BUT other persons can chip on their own experiences with this company. I hope they keep successful enough to stay open.

The trouble with learning from experience
is that the test comes first and
    the lesson afterwards

After trying various places online I had actually called them (TredLabs). They would do the recovery but unfortunately don't have the boards that I want. The good news is that they'll try to source them for you if you contact them.

I'm glad for them still. Me and my friend wanted to start a recovery lab from back in 98/99 but didn't have the funds. Personally I like that they started, but I'm sad that they first me.
Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

He doesn't necessarily need them to recover those files. Easy Recovery and GetDataBack and other recovery tools can work.
